Welcome to Standard V Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order for our gap analysis services (“Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

1. Service Description
Standard V Ltd provides documentation-only gap analysis services to assess whether a company’s internal documentation and procedures meet certain standards.
The output is typically an Excel gap analysis template, with provisions for on-site audit recording for some standards.
2. User Obligations
Users must comply with the following obligations:
- Payment: Users must pay for the Services in full before delivery.
- Accurate Information: Users must provide accurate and complete information necessary for the analysis.
- Lawful Use: Users agree to use the Services lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.
- Feedback: Feedback and communication of issues should be done through the customer portal.
3. Service Delivery
Service delivery expectations are as follows:
- Delivery Timeframe: The gap analysis will be delivered within seven days of order acceptance (most are delivered within 24 hours).
- Delayed Delivery: A delayed delivery means the gap analysis was not or has not been delivered within the Delivery Timeframe. In the instance of delayed delivery you will be offered the opportunity to wait for delivery or a full refund.
- Delivery Method: The analysis will be viewable and available as an Excel download in the customer portal.
4. Refund Policy
No Refunds After Order Confirmation: Services are non-refundable after order confirmation due to the nature of the work except where explicitly provisioned elsewhere in our Terms of Service.
Quality Assurance: The gap analysis is a digital product delivered in part using generative artificial intelligence. While it is widely accepted that modern generative artificial intelligence is accurate and knowledgeable, mistakes are possible. We make no guarantee as to the veracity of the gap analysis findings. You accept the risks of using generative artificial intelligence and agree not to hold us liable for any inaccuracy.
5. Confidentiality
Our confidentiality commitments include:
- Definition: “Confidential Information” includes any non-public information provided by the User for the purpose of the analysis.
- Protection: We will protect Confidential Information using reasonable care and will not disclose it to third parties except where outlined in this agreement or required by law.
- Exceptions: Confidentiality obligations do not apply to information that is publicly available, already in our possession, or received independently.
6. Limitation of Liability
Limited Liability: Our liability is limited to the maximum cost of the Service you paid.
No Warranties: We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of the analysis due to the nature of the Services.
7. Intellectual Property
Intellectual property rights are allocated as follows:
- Ownership: You retain ownership of any original materials you provide. We retain ownership of the gap analysis methodologies and templates.
- License: Upon full payment, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the delivered analysis for your internal purposes.
- Restrictions: You may not resell the template, or disclose the analysis to third parties except those engaged in corrective action on your behalf.
8. Amendments to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Users should review the Terms before placing an order. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Dispute Resolution
Disputes will be handled in line with the following process:
- Initial Resolution: Please contact us through the customer portal to resolve disputes amicably.
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- Jurisdiction: Any disputes will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

- Response Time: We aim to respond within three working days.
